Not worth the hype for couples
The location was central, which made it easy to explore, and the rooftop terrace was a nice touch. We enjoyed complimentary bottles of water daily, very convenient!
It definitely wasn't inexpensive, though it was still bearable.

Charming Stay with Friendly Staff
Spent 2 nights in a lovely Standard Twin Room. The colonial decor adds character, and the view from my balcony was breathtaking. The breakfast buffet was delightful, though options were limited. Remember to charge devices in advance, as USB ports are low-power. Overall, a memorable experience!

Loved the location of Hotel de Mendoza. Close to many attractions, which made exploring easy. The ambiance has that classic Mexican charm with beautiful wood accents. The staff were friendly and mostly bilingual, making communication smooth. Pool area looked inviting even though I didn't get a chance to swim. My room was spacious but a bit outdated. The bathroom needed some work. shower flooded the floor during use. I appreciated the on-site restaurant for breakfast, but it was just average. Wi-Fi in the room was weak at times, which was frustrating for planning our activities. Overall, a decent stay but could benefit from some renovations and better maintenance.
